Mary’s hands echo the words of the mantra as they assume the Shakti Mudra. This sacred hand gesture is used to bring in the divine mother energy, the Shakti. Holding the Shakti mudra for 30 minutes a day (either all at once or in 10 minute blocks of time) is said to help reduce anxiety, improve sleep, and stabilize the physical and mental bodies, promoting a strong constitution in mind and body.
