Apocalypse Cleanup Crew rough
Working on an illustration for my good friend, writer David Sklar.
The Apocalypse Cleanup Crew (David and three of his buddies) – are planning to print up T-shirts.
These are rough sketches for front and back. The final will have a few changes, and will be white on black.

Back of shirt - cleaning up after the cleanup.
He’s got some hilarious captions for it, but I’ll spare you my attempt to remember them, and include them when I post the finished design.
I’ve forgotten what fun illustration can be!
BTW, David’s novella, Shadow of the Antlered Bird, is awesome! You can read an excerpt here.
Love your line drawings, Anne. Does the crew work at a stable?
No, they’re a bunch of crazy writers. The horses are just a reference to the 4 horsemen. Actually I’ll have to ask exactly how they came up with the name.
Actually, the name came after the tag line–“It’s the end of the world as we know it…and I smell pine.”
Thanks for the shout-out, by the way. This was the first time I noticed this here.

Love the line drawing with the horses – the horses all look filled with spirit. Bet it will make a great Halloween tee shirt design too.
Yeah, I bet it would if I took out the cleaning supplies!
